PADI Rescue Diver Course

The course consists of:
The course is divided into knowledge development and pool sessions
then open water training.
The knowledge development portion develops the principles and information
you need for preventing and handling dive emergencies, with topics including
self rescue, diver stress, diving first aid, emergency management, equipment
problems and rescue and assistance procedures for both conscious and
unconscious victims on the surface and underwater.
Knowledge development is achieved by reading the manual and through
lectures viewing the course DVD and completing the Rescue Diver exam.
Three pool sessions give the training and experience that you require
before going into open water.
Open water training generally takes part from our boat from Lymington;
this gives a sense of reality to the training, as you will be in the
environment where accidents can happen.
Cost includes all equipment manual with accident management slate,
DVD, pocket mask, lectures, pool sessions and open water training.
