PADI Open Water
Diver
The PADI Open Water course is the best introductory course for scuba
diving available today. The course is run in two parts:
Part one - Academics and pool training.
Independent home study, using manual or CD-ROM plus instructor lead
reviews and assessments on two evenings at our centre.
4 Pool training sessions on a Monday evening at Cranmore school, Horsley.
Part two - Open Water training
4 Open water dives. This may take place either in the U.K. generally
from our 40 foot boat based in Lymington, or on one of our regular dive
holidays abroad, or we can give a referral certificate enabling you
to finish the course of during your own holiday.
Course qualifications
On successful completion of parts one and two of the Open Water Course,
you are qualified to: Hire SCUBA diving equipment and dive in conditions
comparable to or better than those in which you were trained. When accompanied
by someone of similar or greater qualifications to a depth of 18 metres.
Price - Part one academic and pool training. Includes:
Instruction, open water diver course manual or CD-ROM, dive tables
log book and use of all items of diving equipment necessary.
If finishing the course as part of your holiday abroad a referral form
is supplied.
£275 including VAT.
Price - Part two: Open water training. Includes:
Instruction, All equipment necessary to complete the dives, final PADI
Open Water Diver certificate. If completing the course abroad with us
all equipment and dives are included.
£125 including VAT.
